Dr. Day is Board Certified by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery (ABPS) and is a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. Dr. Day completed his undergraduate studies at Boston University, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology. He graduated Summa Cum Laude from the William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in Chicago, Illinois, receiving his D.P.M. (Doctor of Podiatric Medicine) degree. He was a member of the Durlacher Honor Society and received various scholarships based on academic merit. His Residency training in foot and ankle surgery was at the Harris County Podiatric Surgical Residency Program in Houston, Texas. During his final year of training, Dr. Day served as Chief Resident. Dr. Day also trained in the Department of Community Medicine at Baylor College of Medicine, concentrating on diabetic foot care and limb loss prevention. He has published articles in various medical journals. He is a member of the Harris County Podiatric Medical Association, Texas Podiatric Medical Association and the American Podiatric Medical Association.
