Dr. D. Sean Sweeney was raised in Houston, Texas, and graduated Cum Laude from Klein Forest High School. Dr. Sweeney completed his undergraduate studies at Baylor University in Waco, Texas receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree. He earned his podiatric medical degree from the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio. Dr. Sweeney then completed his residency training in reconstructive foot and ankle surgery with the Houston Podiatric Foundation in Houston, Texas. His residency training was based at St. Joseph's Hospital, Houston Northwest Medical Center, and Kingwood Medical Center. His practice encompasses all aspects of podiatric medicine including reconstructive foot and ankle surgery, sports medicine, diabetic foot care and limb salvage, and primary podiatric medicine. He is a member of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, the American Podiatric Medical Association, the Texas Podiatric Medical Association, and the Harris County Podiatric Medical Society.
